Will The Calix Lid Get Warm If Hot Drinks Are Put In It?

The stainless steel lid will get a little hot if boiling drinks are put in the cup. The Slider Lid will become a little warm when used with hot drinks too.

If boiling water is poured into the Calix (as in with instant black coffee for example) and the lid is immediately put on, we would not recommend drinking from the Calix at this point as the insulation means that the liquid inside will not cool down for a very long time and if drunk, will result in the liquid burning your mouth.
