How do I clean my SHO XL Tumbler?

We recommend cleaning your SHO XL Tumbler with hot water and liquid detergent.

The non-slip base of the SHO XL Tumbler can be easily removed, allowing you to clean it thoroughly.

The SHO Brush can be used to clean hard-to-reach areas.

The SHO XL Tumbler is not dishwasher safe.

Store your SHO XL Tumbler with the lid removed.

For a deep clean we recommend using SHO Cleaning Powder.

Do not soak your SHO XL Tumbler in water for a prolonged period as this can cause damage to the paintwork.

Tannin Stains and Hard Water Build-up

If you use your XL Tumbler for tea and coffee, you may find that the tannins in your drinks can start to stain your mug, even when cleaned after every use. This causes the bottle to take on a brownish colour that can be mistaken for rust.

Hardwater build-up can also cause your bottle to become coated in a white film.

For this, we recommend using the SHO Cleaning Powder to remove stains.

Alternatively, you can use a mixture of white vinegar and hot water, by using half a dishwasher tablet or using a denture cleaning tablet.

Do not mix any of the cleaning methods above and always wash your bottle with hot water and liquid detergent after completing a deep clean.
